I could, Nolan did read and loved both stories as he mashed them up together and Ledger obviously loved Killing Joke.

Haven't read The Killing Joke (I'd like to at some point though), but yeah The Long Halloween for sure, especially the whole Gordon-Dent-Batman releationship!
